Blog 1

I picked this article because it has so much information about what we have been talking about and also the video we watched on Thursday. What I found most interesting about this article was in a small box on the left middle side under "Use your Words" the side notes gave fun facts about a few languages, my favorite, for example was about the very first one involving the Russian language and how they have various words for different shades of the color blue and with that being said they have more of a precise indication of something that is a shade of blue when describing it.
I most definitely agree with this article mainly because it seems pretty factual but also because the facts about world wild language were incredibly amazing and captivating.
This article made me want to keep reading more and more into the subject and can not wait to post my next blog next week. The way that simple sentences are said differently in every language completely interests me. My article shows the world how different language is and that in its own way we mean the same thing just in different tenses or verbs.

  1. Good one I like it. I like the example that was use in the article. It is a Nursery Rhyme "Humpty Dumpty" it explain why the word sat was use and not sit.
